A special seminar entitled Why Should We Become “Culture Smart”? was co-hosted by ESIAD (Aegean Industrialists and Businessmen Association) and ESBAS for foreign-invested Zone companies and featured guest speaker, Ferhan Alesi. Ms. Alesi is a consultant who normally provides comprehensive management development solutions, coaching and addresses teamwork and intercultural management issues for foreign company executives.
ESIAD Chairman of the Board, Bulent Akgerman, gave a short briefing about the activities of ESIAD before the presentation, which took place on February 21 at the ESBAS Technology Conference Hall. Participants included ESIAD members, as well as foreign employees and employers from Zone companies. Ms. Alesi shared her experiences in different countries and answered questions about cultural differences. At the end of her presentation, she was presented a plaque by Mr. Akgerman and ESBAS CEO (Dr.) Faruk Guler.
