The bottleneck caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the world’s economy has significantly reduced the capacities of factories regardless of which country or region they are located. Annual leaves, home-office work and other practices have been put in place by companies around the World, as well as in the Aegean Free Zone. Expressing that the number of positive cases is not that high to require extraordinary measures in the Zone, ESBAŞ CEO Dr. Faruk Güler said that this became possible thanks to meticulous implementation of Health Committee’s suggestions by all companies.
Dr. Faruk Güler added that although the normalization period has begun, projections on how long the economy will continue to be impacted by the pandemic are still uncertain.
