Space Camp Türkiye is adding a new activity for students, which will become operational during the 2014-2015 school year. Students will soon conduct missions and experiments in two space station modules that will be integrated with the space shuttle and ground mission control beginning in November.
Inspired by the construction of the International Space Station that orbits the Earth, the station will consist of two modules and will offer training activities that focus on teamwork, problem-solving and time management.
The modules, which will be located at the training center (where the mission control and space shuttle are currently located) will be comprised of electronic systems to monitor the space shuttle flight mission, low-gravity experiments, space walk missions, as well as an onboard hydroponics lab.
