Mr. Mahmut Ozgener, Chairman of EXPO 2020 Izmir Executive Committee, pays a visit to ESBAS

Mr. Mahmut Ozgener, Chairman of EXPO 2020 Izmir Executive Committee paid a visit to ESBAS to give a brief on the past efforts and future schedule of work to be carried out for Izmir EXPO 2020 and to exchange views with ESBAS executives.
 
Mr. Ozgener acknowledged the contributions of ESBAS to EXPO 2020 during the application process and said that ESBAS’ views would always be met with utmost attention by them. Mr. Ozgener stated that they were open to evaluating all kinds of support, comments and proposals for winning the EXPO for Izmir.
 
Mr. Ozgener said their top concern is to have the city embrace and incorporate the EXPO, and believe in its success. Mr. Ozgener continued “no matter what the result, Izmir will be introduced to the world at its best.” Mahmut Ozgener, Chairman of EXPO Steering Committee, stated that both preliminary and post processes of EXPO should be planned and well organized. He said, “EXPO will be a great opportunity for worldwide promotion of the city of Izmir.”
 
ESBAS executives, on the other hand, stated that they would do their share in winning the EXPO for Izmir and would try to set the Aegean Free Zone companies into motion in this direction.
