Aiming to cement the success of Izmir in innovation, entrepreneurship, R&D and Industry 4.0 in recent years with a new form of partnership, and to transform the city into a base for a cluster of local and international companies in the software and informatics industry, the foundation works for Software and Informatics Industrialists Cluster Association (YABISAK) is finally complete. Founded under the leadership of Dr. Faruk Güler, CEO of ESBAŞ, YABISAK has 22 founding members, including Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, universities, chambers and unions, non-governmental organizations and industry leaders.
Founded officially on January 4th 2021, founding members of YABISAK had their first meeting on January 25th on Zoom. Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Faruk Güler reminded that the pandemic prevented the associations from holding their general assembly meetings, and added that the General Assembly Meeting of YABISAK would be held and the Board of Directors would be determined as soon as the circumstances allow.
