FOKKER ELMO TÜRKİYE BUILDS NEW FACILITIES IN AEGEAN FREE ZONE

Fokker Elmo Türkiye, a Dutch company and leader in the aerospace industry, started to manufacture cabling systems for aircraft and aircraft engines after deciding to invest in the Aegean Free Zone in 2007 through their offset commitment. With facilities in The Netherlands, Türkiye, China, Canada and the United States, Fokker Elmo Türkiye decided to expanded their investment by constructing a new 7,820 m² building.

Mr. Mischa Baert, General Manager of Fokker Elmo Türkiye, stated his company generated a trade volume of $35,3 million in 2013.  It has strong  partnerships with Lockheed Martin, Boeing, AgustaWestland, Airbus Military, Hamilton Sundstrand, Pratt & Whitney and Sikorsky, exporting its entire product line across the globe. Mr. Baert says that Fokker Elmo Türkiye plans to double their capacity with the new facilities and employ 400 people.
