ESBAS, which produces food for more than 20,000 people per day in the Aegean Free Zone, opened one of Turkey's most modern food production facilities in its 30-year anniversary.
The new ESBAS Food Production Factory, which uses lean manufacturing philosophy and techniques, has also increased its food production capacity from 20,000 people to 30,000 people per day. The planning process is fully managed autonomously at the new factory, which also contains an ESBAŞ Gastronomy Exhibition Area with the theme of “Are You Ready to Discover The World of Food?”, which tells the story of the food culture since the early ages, as well as an “R&D Kitchen”, with the theme of “Are You Ready to Experience the World of Food?”.
The highest standards on food safety were implemented in the new production factory, which was established in the expansion area of the Aegean Free Zone and has an open area of 15 thousand square meters and a closed area of 11 thousand square meters. Occupational health and safety (OHS), food safety, optimum use of areas, maximum efficiency and internal and external customer satisfaction were prioritized in the facility, which was designed in accordance with ISO Quality Systems. Maximum energy and water savings were achieved with environmental practices.
