The Strengthening Pre-School Education Project Workshop was held at Swiss Hotel with the participation of Deputy Governor Mr. Fatih Ahmet Kurt, National Education Director of Izmir Province Mr. Vefa Bardakci and UNICEF representatives. ESBAŞ Child care center invited to the workshop as the successful model implementation was presented to the attendees by Dilek Karatas, Deputy Manager of ESBAS Child Care Center.
UNICEF Program Communication Representative Didem Akan indicated that the main objective of the project is to create partnership with community-based models and services in order to provide pre-school education to the disadvantaged children and their families and to improve the existing services. ESBAŞ Child Care Center, one of the most successful model implementation of Türkiye has attracted big interest during the workshop. UNICEF representatives emphasized that the child care center should be a model implementation for the existing ones and considered as a model facility in the new projects.
