In anticipation of the official launch of the e-invoice and e-book applications in the Aegean Free Zone, a special orientation meeting was held on April 14 in the ESBAS Technology Center for company representatives in the Zone. The event was co-sponosred by ESBAS and ESBIAD, the Aegean Free Zone Businessmen Association.
Mr. Erdogan Ultay, Director of the Bornova Tax Office, informed the participants abpit the e-invoice system and Mr. Ali Altinisik,Director of Procedures in the Izmir Tax Administration, talked about the e-book applications. Representatives from Akbank T.A.S. Banking, which is licensed in regulating the e-invoice system via private integration companies, were also present to give a presentation on the implementaiton of this new system.
Meeting participants discussed their system-related problems and were provided recommended solutions. The meeting concluded after ESBAS CEO Dr. Faruk Guler and ESBIAD Chairman of the Board Salih Narli presented plaques to the speakers.
