is a complex mix of modern industry and traditional agriculture.

still plays a major role in some basic industries, banking, transport
and communication.

is projected at 200 billion USD, Real GDP Growth +4.2 %; Consumer
Price Inflation +11.6%; Unemployment over 10%.

Turkey's major trading
partners are Germany, USA, Italy, France, UK and Russia. 50% of
the Country's exports (mostly agriculture, textiles, iron, and steel)
are to the EU. Imports are weighted to oil, machinery and chemicals. |
