The agreement for the facilities to be set up in the Aegean Free Zone by Fokker Elmo has been signed with a ceremony held in Ankara on November 1, 2007.

Netherlands’ giant aviation company Fokker Elmo plans to employ 150-200 people in 8000 m² covered area at first stage, then increase this number to 400 people in the near future.

This investment, which has been realized within the off-set commitment of Turkey, comprises the design and manufacture of wiring and cabling systems for aircrafts and planes.

Minister of Defence Vecdi Gönül, who also attended the ceremony, emphasized that Turkey expands towards important technology transfers and foreign markets through off-set. Gönül stated that the export of important industrial goods is realized via this application.
