Minister of National Defense Mr. İsmet Yılmaz Pays a Visit to ESBAŞ

Minister of National Defense Mr. İsmet Yılmaz paid a visit to ESBAŞ on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Izmir Governor Mr. M. Cahit Kıraç and Defense Industry Undersecretary Mr. Murad Bayar accompanied the Minister of National Defense during his visit.

The Minister expressed his condolences for Kaya Tuncer, Chairman of the ESBAŞ Board, who passed away a short time ago, and also received detailed information on ESBAŞ and the Aegean Free Zone. He was also invited to the Global Industrial Cooperation Conference to be organized in İzmir from May 20 to 23, 2012 and obtained information on the works carried out for the conference.

After receiving a briefing on the investments in the Zone and defense industry projects of the company Kale Pratt & Whitney, who decided to make investments in the Aegean Free Zone in 2011, the Minister and the delegation accompanying him left the Aegean Free Zone.
